Canvas Grades not Syncing with PowerSchool

Every now and then, Canvas and PowerSchool seem to get out of sync.   If you find that your grades are not syncing properly between the two systems.  Please give the following a try and see if this will solve the issue.  Unfortunately, you may find yourself needing to repeat this process a few time each term.   

Log into Canvas

STEP 1

Go to your course and choose ASSIGNMENTS

Click on the three dots AKA Options menu AKA Skinny Snowman

Choose IMPORT ASSIGNMENT GROUPS

Allow the process to run.  It may take up to 60 minutes to complete the sync. 

When the sync is done go to STEP 2. 

STEP 2

Now you need to resync the actual grades. 

Go to GRADES - ACTIONS -  SYNC TO SIS - IMPORT
